Dogwater Font
Dogwater is my second attempt at making a typeface. I was on a big reverse-contrast typeface kick at the time I made this, so I wanted to try my hand at making my own. I wanted this font to look unserious–like something a clown would use on a business card. My professor pointed out it was similar to the typeface Zipper while I was making it, so I looked at that–both for inspiration, and to avoid making it too similar. I also created several illustrations to accompany the font, made entirely of shapes found in the letterforms.
